Daddy's Birthday Weekend

Daddy had his big birthday weekend recently. We celebrated at home briefly since he came home late from a business trip on his actual birthday. Mommy made us stay up past our bedtimes, but we didn't mind --- I mean, who says no to blowing out candles and cake!?
I LOVE blowing out candles! Just like my dad, I'm really intrigued by fire. Then while mommy and daddy were not looking, I decided to dig into the cake myself.
Deelicious...look at that high quality sugar!
Hm, I wonder if I can save this somewhere so I can eat some later....
On the weekend, we celebrated with the Kwons and since brunch plans were canceled, we decided to all meet at the Long Island Children's Museum out in Garden City, NY. Leah and I had a blast! There were bubbles, music, art and even a live turtle!

Here we are at the bubble station. I think daddy was having more fun than we all were!
There was a sandy cove area as well a tool bench area.
Grandpa Kwon was showing us the mechanics of how things work. I showed Grandma Kwon how it's done.
Anything to get my hands on water... It was so realistic for Grandpa Kwon that he thought he was on the beach and decided to take a nap!
Leah liked the sandy cove area. Leah and I then went to explore the Tot Area Zone!

There were slides, a bridge, grocery store, ticket counter and all sorts of fun stuff! Lauren even thought it was hilarious!!

Here I am with my cousin Isaiah! I am now 5 months old and Isaiah is about 2 months old. Isn't he so cute! :) He's a bit chubby so we look the same age but don't be deceived...I am taller!

And...I can lift my head up no problem! HA! Well, Isaiah is pretty good too considering he's only 2 months old and can lift his head up!
And of course we had more cake! Grandpa Kwon's real birthday as it goes with the lunar calendar was also this past Monday so we celebrated along with Daddy's birthday. Grandpa Kwon got a fat free blueberry muffin and Daddy got an oreo chocolate vanilla ice cream cake. Yum Yum.

Leah doesn't get too many sweets so she was really into the oreo cookie...on the other hand, I thought it was nothing special -- not because I get a lot of sweets, but because I just don't eat a lot -- drives mommy and daddy crazy!

After cake, we decided to take our first group picture of all the cousins. It was a bit chaotic but I think we might have gotten one or two photos of all four of us looking straight at the camera...

Competition amongst the eldest children: Leah kisses Isaiah then Matthew has to kiss Lauren.

If you rub Lauren's head right here she usually laughs. Hm, not laughing still?

Leah, I'm telling you it works. Here, maybe we both have to try it and I will also close my eyes and pray.
Are you sure Matthew? She's crying.... Let's try it on Isaiah .. rub the hair ... I dunno. I don't think it works. Are either of them smiling? Oh well. Maybe next time.
Daddy surprised me during President's weekend and took us to watch Sesame Street Live! It was an hour and a half show and I sat through most of it surprisingly, although all I wanted to see was Elmo.
Mommy and Daddy were more pooped than Lauren and I. Sheesh. They think we are hard work or something.
We just got pictures from Godfather of Lauren's baptism and Christmas. I'll have to post those pictures next time!

Kisses and hugs for Matthew and Lauren!!!
