6 weeks old!

Hello everyone! Today I am 6 weeks old. In honor of my milestone, mom of course had to take some pictures with some of my new friends and of course in my new clothes.

Playing with Ed, my new horse.

In my terry cloth outfit from my godmother, Michelle. And of course wearing shoes from Aunt Nancy and Uncle Tejpal.

My new hat from the Shands! It's a bit big but I'll grow into it, especially since I'll take after my mom and dad who both have big heads.

In my new wagon! And of course pulling my empty wagon along.

And, just some new expressions.. And if you didn't notice, wearing my cool onesie from Aunt Hiroko and Christian -- yes, I am Daddy's Little Wingman.

Have a great weekend folks!

Smile

My mom has been trying to capture my smile now when I'm awake but I haven't been cooperating. Grandma Kwon requested some pictures with my eyes open so mom got to work this morning...

Enjoying the sun in our living room..

This is mom cheating in trying to make me smile...

Here are some decent close ups...

See, this is where my mom is cruel. I was about to sneeze and she thought it would be funny to capture the before shots...eeebers!

Yesterday while mom was changing my diaper, I peed and it squirted all over my shirt and my face. I stopped crying abruptly due to the shock and then resumed crying after realizing what had happened. Mom was contemplating taking a picture of pee all over my face but that would be too cruel. Instead, she quickly mopped up my face and proceeded to tell dad about how funny it was.

5 weeks and going strong...

Today I had my one week checkup with the doctor as my weight was on the low side.  I now weigh 8lbs and 11ozs!  I gained that much in over a week.  The doctor was very proud of me.  I must say though that my pants and diapers are getting a bit tight on me so I figured I was rounding out my figure.  I also had my first shot for Hepatitis B.  It was painful but I took it like man.

Last Saturday, my grandparents from Canada left to go back home.  Mom has to do everything by herself but Grandma Kim made sure to make lots of pre-made food so mom could easily heat things up.  However, I like to make things challenging so I keep mom busy non-stop.  She rarely has a chance to put me down nor eat anything..

I can now smile somewhat when I am awake according to my mom.  However, she has yet to capture that shot and plus I only like to smile when I want to -- which is whenever my mom doesn't need me to -- hee hee.

I miss my grandparents from Canada but I'll be seeing them in a few months for my debut in Canada.  I better fatten up some more and learn to smile more regularly so that I can make my parents proud.

Look how fat I got -- do you see my double chin?  Comfortable being held in daddy's arms.
