2 months old!

Michael is really now 2 1/2 months old but we wanted to give you an update. He is a very chatty fellow and thankfully put on a few pounds. He loves to smile and really resembles his Godfather, Michael. At 2 months, he weighed in at 12lbs 14ozs (73%) and 23.5 inches long (66%). His head continues to be small at 32%.

And of course, our little princess...

Been so long...

My dearest Matthew,

You are now 4 years old! It seems like just yesterday that I held you in my arms as the proud mother to a healthy 7lbs 8.9ozs boy. We shared a good 9 mos together as I was a stay at home mom and then put you in daycare shortly thereafter to start working. Time just seems to be flying by and you are growing up so quickly. You are now the eldest of three and show your maturity by the way you take care of your sister and little brother.

You have quite the personality and continue to show the jokester side of you. Your interests are Legos, Transformers and books. Of course you continue to draw cars, rocket ships and the random animal but I think you've now grown out of Thomas the train and Cars (although you still have a love of them). You continue to point out fast cars on the streets at all times -- these are distinguished by those that have several mufflers or a spoiler or are a convertible.

You are definitely my emotional/sensitive child -- loves to hug, says I love you to get out of things when you know you've done wrong and are a very tactile child. Any article of fleece is your favorite as you continue to love the feel of the material. We have also introduced you to soccer/swimming and you show promise in both sports. You have thankfully not gotten sick as often as before and you are very brave at the doctor and dentist.

What a blessing you have been to your mom and dad. You bring laughter and joy to our lives and there is never a dull moment. We continue to pray for you to eat more, share with others and be a confident and happy boy. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your journey as you learn about the world, its complexities and its simple pleasures through your innocent eyes.

We love you dearly,
Mom and Dad
