Almost 3 months!

Long time no see everyone!! Life has been hectic as mommy finds more things for me to do and people for me to meet. Last Sunday, we had brunch with Elsa (Annie and Paul's daughter) and Jacob (Samir and Sheliza's son) at Dos Caminos. It was such a nice day that we all went for a stroll after brunch. Then after we came back, mom, dad and I went swimming in our pool. The water was a bit cold but I handled it well and even glided along in the pool with mommy and daddy. I even got to take a hot shower with daddy after to warm up! :)

This past Tuesday, I had playgroup and boy was it fun. We had a full house of about 10 mothers. I was the only one blabbing along but all my other baby friends are smiling now so its much more fun. Next time, mommy is going to take a picture of us all lined up so you can meet some of my friends!

I will be 3 months on Friday! Can you believe that? Time flies...sheesh.

Here I am enjoying my new attachment toy mom bought me to help with my coordination. If you look closely in my mouth it looks like 2 teeth, but its actually just milk I'm sloshing around in my mouth -- hee hee.

This is mommy trying to make me pose for a cute shot. However, I wasn't really in the mood to smile so mom had to deal with a cute but no smile shot under the covers. The next picture is me snoozing in my Bugaboo.

Look at me in the Bumbo! My neck is getting stronger and sitting up is getting a bit more stable as you can see.

Here I am practicing my neck muscles during tummy time on my new activity mat. My hair in front is also starting to grow in, although I have a strip of hair falling out in the back -- I hope it grows back soon! Do you see my drool in the second picture -- haha! Mom thinks I'm getting teeth soon as I keep drooling lately!

Today, I went to see mom's friend Anj and finally met Mia and Arianna. Here is Mia (2.5 years old) eating some nuts while I lend an ear. The next picture, Mia was consoling me telling me not to cry -- awww.

Here is Mia's younger sister, Arianna (7 months). You see, at first she wasn't interested, then she looked my direction.....

and just could not resist striking up a conversation...yeah, she wants me!

Tomorrow, I go in for my 3 month check up! I hope I gained some weight and hopefully my shots won't be so bad (I have 2! :(..). Also, I go on my first plane trip on Friday as mom and dad are celebrating their 1st wedding anniversary in Puerto Rico. I'm very excited to go swimming and go on some adventures finally!

My cousin, Leah is growing a lot. I really want to meet her as Uncle Dennis sent us a video of her. She's a great gal...and I gotta keep her real and tell her how it is in New York so she is reminded that life is not all about palm trees and sun.

Okay, time to go to bed.

xoxo (no, I'm not gossip girl!)

Memorial Day Weekend

I hope everyone had a good Memorial Day weekend! I made my first international trip across the border to daddy's land o' canadia! I also got to see Grandma and Grandpa Kim who anxiously awaited our arrival on Friday night. Daddy got stuck in really bad traffic on the way up so we got to Toronto at 130AM. Although my sleep schedule was a bit mixed up, I still continued to sleep through the night and entertain my grandparents friends.

Grandpa and Grandma Kim made a huge barbeque feast on Saturday night and daddy had some of his friends over for some food too. Mom and Aunt Michelle helped Grandma Kim out with cooking foods while Dad waxed and cleaned the car. Everyone had a great time and ate lots at the BBQ.

On Sunday, I went to church and was again a good little boy while Grandma Kim took me around during the bazaar. Grandma and Grandpa Kim made our stay in Canada so much fun. Even during their renovations, they made everything ready for our stay there and I had a blast hangin' with them -- I miss them already...but I'll see them in one month for my 100 day celebration!

Hanging out with some of daddy's friends. Uncle Adrian and I share a moment and Uncle Jay takes a load off of mom.

Here is the whole gang (from left to right) -- Hector, Eddy, Jay, Adrian, Dan Choi, Aunt Michelle and Rosa.

Grandma and I....This is pretty much what I loved doing during the daytime with Grandma. She is such a great entertainer and kept me amused for hours! You see the blanket I'm on? That is daddy's blanket he was wrapped in when he was born -- that's means its almost 31 years old!!!

Grandma makes me laugh...:)

Grandpa and I -- here I am being burped by Grandpa Kim...hee hee.

And of course, taking a snooze with Grandpa Kim. *sigh*

Just woke up and now I'm hungry...wah.

Look at all my gifts I received from all the generous friends! Grandma Kim got me these overall but mom just put it on me without taking my arms out -- haha.

We got back from Canada yesterday night with luckily no traffic. After unpacking and eating, I went right to bed and now I'm going to go for a walk with mom. That's it for now!

Oh yes, on bigger news, my cousin, Leah Kwon was born last Wednesday weighing in at 7lbs 11ozs and 18 1/2 inches long! :) I cannot wait to meet her. From her pictures, she is the cutest thing ever so I'm going to have to learn some tae kwon do soon to protect her...yeah!

Summer is coming!!

Hey Everybody,

I hope you had a nice weekend. Sorry, my mom has been busy as dad was away at a bachelor party in Miami so she had to take care of me all by herself. However, I did go for my first swimming lesson this Sunday! :) It was very fun but mom took me while I was napping and she didn't feed me so I got a bit cranky after 30 minutes, but I did well according to the swim instructor. There was another boy in the pool who was 7 months and his name was Luca. He did better than I did, but hey, I'm only 10 weeks!

On Saturday, we went to Bess's birthday party. I behaved really well and I was amazed at all the lights Bess and Craig newly renovated with. I didn't cry one bit and completely passed out at 10PM as it was way past my bedtime.

Oh yes, and now I'm finally sleeping through the night. I'll go to bed at 8 or 9PM and wake up at 630 - 7AM. But mommy still has to creep out to pump in the middle of the night to make food for me. She's so great.

Daddy is finally back so mommy has some time and therefore, she went a bit crazy and shopped for some toys to prepare for my development and for the summertime!

I'm getting better at lifting up my head now...my mom's trying to make me roll over now...so I can soon crawl!

Head up!

Of course, my mom wanted to show my backside for the fashion conscious folks out there!

This is one of my swimsuits mom bought me. The top is getting a bit tight for my manly frame but I manage..haha. Of course you can see in the second picture that I'm losing my center of gravity yet again.

This is my other swimsuit my mom bought. It's meant for 6-12 months so its a bit big on me but the clincher is that this one has a built in diaper!!!

Yep, falling over again....*sigh*

Close up of what I'm doing -- of course mom is NOT helping me!!

Here are some better shots of my swimwear...

This is my new mobile mom bought me for developmental progress. It plays Bach, Mozart and Beethoven. Mom keeps singing the cello parts to the Bach song and I love it. I stare at it and it puts me to sleep! :)

Ooooh la la...

Ha. This is my tres chic pose so I can check out the ladies on the beach without them knowing!!

My shades are a bit big..so they keep falling..but don't you think I'm cute!?

And, this is my new Bumbo chair. It's meant as a transition high chair. I don't have complete neck control yet but once I do, my mom can take away the blanket behind...

And, this is my new UV protectant hat! And in good fashion, I'm getting bored with mom dressing me up all the time...*sigh*

Here I am enjoying my Bumbo....hee hee.

Where's the milk dudes...

Little kisses,
Matthew
