Happy 100 Days!

It's been a long time since I've been back at work updating you on my life. I just returned from San Francisco and finally have a chance to upload some pictures from my 100 days! Grandma and Grandpa Kim came from Toronto along with Gomo Michelle and Gomoboo Michael (from Newport Beach!). It was tons of fun to see them all and hang out with the whole Kimbo clan.

Grandpa Kim and catch up on the times...

The Kimbo grandparents....followed by Grandpa Kwon!

Here is all my jewelry I received from my mom's generous aunts and my great grandparents. Haha, don't I look like a princess. If you look closely, I'm also wearing my mom's ring when she was a baby! It's the one with the 3 flowers on it..hee hee.

Grandpa Kwon and Grandma Kwon threw a big bash in honor of my 100 days. We had a BBQ outside despite the rain with lots of kalbi, spicy pork, lots of Korean side dishes and king crab legs and scallops.

Cheers! to a great party... Great grandma and Great grandpa entertaining me...

Here's my dad doing what he does best -- drinking and his signature tae kwon do chop.

Here I am all dolled up ready for pictures in front of my 100 days cake. Isn't my outfit spiffy?? Grandpa Kwon made me my hat with berries. It made me look like a reindeer but for those that are smart, my hat actually reads king in Chinese...um, I think. haha.

Look, remember my newboy hat? It fits me now and I look so gosh darn cute! And then here I am hanging out with great grandma...she's so comfortable to be held by...

You will have to excuse my non-smiling face in front of the cake as I was rudely awakened, dressed and put in front of all the paparazzi. Mom and Dad tried to make me feel better and it helped a little bit. My cake is made out of rice cake, a tradition during the 100 days celebration. It's really yummy as we all took some home....yum, I wish I had some more...I guess I'll have to wait until Leah turns 100 days...

Sad that I was woken up and then bored while Grandpa Kwon lit the candles...haha.

Here I am with another hat...followed by the traditional 100 days pose -- in my birthday suit -- thank goodness I'm cute in all my fatness!

Happy 100 days to me!!! Thanks to all our family members for making my day so special and fun. See you all soon!

Fun with the Mac

Today I spent some time with Godfather having some computer fun. My mom kept laughing and almost fell off the couch.

And to normalize things a bit, here are some of my friends from playgroup!

Hee hee...see you later, alligator!

Plaid!

My clothes and diapers, as previously mentioned, are getting a bit tight for me so today I tried on some new clothes from Grandma Kim's friends!

Happy as a clam....

Maybe not so happy....

Who needs a golf caddy? ... You can't afford me -- hee hee

Just kidding! I love you!

*muah*

The Godfather

This past weekend, I went to a BBQ for my mom's friend, Jen. There was so much yummy food including kalbi, spicy pork, king crab legs and scallops! Of course we also had burgers and lots of fruit. Mom made me taste watermelon and pineapple. I preferred the watermelon -- hee hee. Jen's mom watched me while mom and dad got to mingle and eat of course! I was so comfortable there that I pooped on Jen's mom!!! Oops! I hope I still get invited back next time!

Yesterday, my godfather (aka Uncle Mike) finally came to see me for the first time! :) I was so excited that I stood right outside the door waiting for him to come down the hallway..

Here I am modeling my hockey gear from Uncle Eddy. Daddy has one just like mine -- yippee skippee!
The Godfather and I. I'm protecting him...*roar*
Can you see how excited I am to see Uncle Mike!!!??!?

Here I am standing with mommy. This is how I greeted Uncle Mike in our hallway.

This past Sunday was my 100 days! But we are celebrating it this Saturday with our family. We are going to have a full house of Kimbos this weekend with both Grandpa and Grandma Kim along with Godmother and Godfather -- yippee!!

Then on Monday, I'm off to San Francisco to visit my cousin, Leah -- woohoo! Don't worry Leah, I'll make sure to hold your hand at night so you don't get scared so that Aunt Janet can sleep more.

Have a nice Wednesday!

Love,
Matthew

Stretch Time!

So lately, as I've been sleeping through the night, I wake up in the best of moods.  I'm now not leaking through my diapers onto my mattress as mom finally got a size bigger diaper for me and we are loving the Huggies Snug n' Dry brand as it really adjusts to my body.  Its been said that Huggies are better for boys while Swaddlers are good for girls...thank goodness one of mommy's friends told her that!

I'm also getting good at grabbing things when placed on my tummy and sneaking little giggles now.  Mommy and daddy can't wait until I giggle full on.

Here I am having a good chew with Mr. Peacock.  Poor Mr. Peacock, he never did anything to me but hey, he asked for the abuse.
The following are a series of stretching moves that I do when I wake up.  Grandma Kwon thought it was the cutest thing so mom tried to catch a series of photos.  Next time, she'll hopefully video tape it so that eventually when she figures out how to put up videos, you can see what Grandma is talking about...

YEAH!

Today, I'm going to a music class with mom.  I'm probably a bit too young for it just yet but mom just wants to see how I'll react so that hopefully I can take it when I'm 6 months old.

Hope everyone has a good Thursday!

Love,
Matthew
