Leah's visit to NY! :)

So, Leah arrived with Uncle Dennis and Aunt Janet while Daddy was away in Asia about 2 weeks ago. Uncle Dennis and Aunt Janet watched me while mommy did a couple of things like attend some of Hiroko's bachelorette activities and got her hair done! Mommy should have given Uncle Dennis and Aunt Janet a break by watching Leah for them but oh well -- next time, for sure!!!

Here I am modeling for Uncle Dennis how good I am in my highchair.

But soon, I get hungry and my cute look turns into a sad frown look...

And then into a full on cry!

Some distractions --- and then finally, FOOD!

YUMMY! Chicken with sweet potatoes and carrots! Want some?

Hee hee...Leah is funny.

So, how's it been going? Are you doing all right with the jet lag? Huh?

Hi .. haha, Leah that was funny!

We are best buds, even in our birthday suits...who is fatter? I think I got bigger thighs but Leah's got the bigger buddha belly.

Ahh, better lighting...

In honor of Aunt Janet's mom, we all walked the Susan Komen Breast Cancer Walk in Central Park. It was my first walk so I had lots to see and take in. It was a hot day but we all had a great time.

At the finish line where we all got pink leis! :) Yummy.

We celebrated afterwards by eating at a Korean restaurant. It was my first time sitting in a highchair at a restaurant.

Although Leah's 100 Day already passed, we celebrated in style at Grandma and Grandpa Kwon's house in Long Island with all the family. We had a barbeque along with lots of yummy appetizers like clams, king crab legs and little fishies. Grandpa cooked most of the appetizers while Daddy was the bbq chef. He made sure all the meat was nicely grilled and corn was all cooked. Grandpa Kwon almost burned off all his eyebrow hairs as the grill exploded when he first turned it on. Thankfully, only his finger hairs got burned off -- whew!

Sitting pretty! Do you see all the bling Leah got for her 100 Day??

She was in a much better mood than I was as I was dripping boogers everywhere due to my cold that I caught a few days earlier.

I wanted to try (actually mommy wanted me to try) Leah's crown on. I kind of got scared of everyone staring and laughing at me though..boo hoo.

Leah told me it was okay as long as I imagined everyone naked. For me, eating makes me forget I'm scared.

Grandpa Kwon and the Queen of the night!

Exhausted after all the festivities....and time to change into our jammies.

Me too me too daddy!

Leah's outfit changes! .. hee hee.

Leah went home yesterday and they all got back safe. I'm already sad and miss my cousin, Aunt Janet and Uncle Dennis. We didn't get too much time to chat but I guess next time will be during Christmas. We love you guys!!

Oh yes, and how could I forget, I finally have started to figure out how to crawl forward and I've been driving mommy crazy! Oh boy -- can't wait until I start walking and running after daddy....

It's been a while....

I know I know...it's been a while. However, the Kimbos have all been really sick the last couple of days and pretty busy as my cousin Leah came over for a few weeks. But I'll get you updated on what I've been up to for the past few weeks.

Last Saturday, I went apple picking with mommy's friends. We went to Tehrune Orchards in Princeton, New Jersey. The weather was sunny and slightly cool and not only did we pick apples but we also got to pick raspberries! There was a small petting zoo, hay rides, a corn maze and a place to make your own scarecrows!

Inside these bags were apple doughnuts...sooo yummy!

Here are Aunt Sarah and Uncle Chris. They watched me while mommy and daddy got some lunch.

What are you looking at?!

Here I am with my best friend Sophie. Aunt Emily is so fun and let's me jump up and down -- my favorite pasttime these days...

Jump Up and Down!

Here I am with mommy ready to go raspberry picking!

Look at the cute raspberries -- don't they kind of look like strawberries? Look what mommy did to make sure she got all the raspberries off the bushes...

And here are the apples! Daddy lifted me up so I could see...hee hee.

I also had my 6 month checkup and got my shots. I weighed in at 19lbs 2oz (72nd percentile) and a height of 28.1 inches (91st percentile). I'm getting pretty tall! :) My head circumference though remains small at 43.2cm (28th percentile). I was also told by the doctor that I could eat all kinds of foods now -- even spicy korean food -- aside from shellfish, nuts, honey and whole milk. Yeah.

I'll post pictures from Leah's visit next! :)

Labor Day Weekend

Hello Everyone,

I hope you all had a nice labor weekend. I know it's been a while since I've posted an update but I've been keeping my parents busy as I'm rolling all over the place and require more attention since I'm also starting to sit up and showing beginning signs of crawling! My teeth are also coming in nicely and they are quite sharp as mommy and daddy cringe when I get the chance to chew on their fingers! :)

Here I am after having inched my body backwards across my playmat. Mommy was making dinner and found me in one of the most interesting of places .. under my stroller!

Here I am sitting up! :) I'm not 100% stable but I can sit up for a bit and then I fall over...which is never fun.

During the labor day weekend, my parents took me to Lake Placid. We stayed at High Peaks resort which was one of the more modern hotels up there. Lake Placid was the home of the 1932 and 1980 Olympics! :o Here is a picture of our view from the hotel balcony. Daddy then decided to take a picture of me being Hercules...

I was so astounded by the beauty and peacefulness of the lake...and then there was the sun but I forgot to bring my glasses so I borrowed mommy's for a bit.

Here we are chilling on a bench in the town of Lake Placid. Do you like my hat? -- hee hee. I'm so cute.

Of course, we had to get a picture with daddy doing his favorite things -- drinking and playing with fire. You can tell by the second picture that I'm learning the drinking thing quickly.

While mommy and daddy got a break, I had a chat with Big Bird and Grover -- they had interesting things to say and boy did I learn a lot about what goes on in Sesame Street. Here I am climbing trees .. mommy tried to get me down but I didn't listen -- haha.

On Sunday, we climbed Whiteface Mountain! :) It was 58 degrees up there and mommy forgot my socks! But don't worry Grandma Kim and Grandma Kwon, you'll see that mommy was quite creative in making sure my toes didn't freeze.

These are some pictures of us as we drove up the mountain. You can see Lake Placid in the backdrop -- mommy thinks the lake looks like lungs.

Here we go climbing up to the summit. There were no stairs, just rocks that we had to climb. And daddy got a workout carrying my little 20lb bum.

Wowsers...look how high we are! Here I am enjoying my free ride and the fresh mountain air!

We made it!

Greetings and love from the Kimbos!!

And of course, I had to include a prelude to the next holiday --- my first Halloween!!!! Look at my cute pumpkin hat from Aunt Christine!
