Growing up...

These days I've been more active as I've mastered rolling around everywhere, not only in my crib. In addition, I've become more flexible, so much so that I can put my toes in my mouth! Also, I've been lucky enough to go swimming with either mommy or daddy and that gets my little legs kicking. Someone at the pool told me that I was a natural so mommy is thinking hmm, maybe the next Michael Phelps? -- haha.

Here are some new pictures from my playgroup. I have lots of friends now...we didn't even have enough room to fit all the babies on the couch! We missed a couple off the right end...

So here is a picture of the whole gang...hahha... The 2 babies on the left and one all the way on the right are the only girls. The rest are all boys!

Here we are again and as you can see all the babies are leaning on me. I am the pillar of strength -- yeah, that's right!

This is me showing mom and dad my new trick. My toes are delicious....

Here is a new piano like toy that was given to us by Aunt Karen. The cool thing is that the music is activated by motion near the keys. I've learned to turn it on and keep it playing by using my mouth instead of my hands. I'll get there one day...

On other news, my two bottom teeth are starting to come in. No white teeth are showing just yet but there are two slits. Mommy and daddy can definitely feel my pearly whites when they rub my gums... Because of my teething, I've been sleeping all sorts of weird hours but I am in good spirits still overall as I am a trooper.

Memories...

So mom was just looking through some of my younger pictures and boy was I a skinny little boy and I had much more hair and looked quite different from what I look like now...

I look disporportionaly weird in this first picture followed by a bit of confusion as mom was looking at me and now she's gone behind the camera..

For the past 2 days mom has taken me swimming and boy do I love it! I kick and move my arms in the water and giggle along with mommy. She also likes to let me jump off the ledge and be caught by her in the water...she's the best. The pool has been great as the last few days have been really hot/humid.

These days I've been starting to eat some real foods. Mom made me some bananas and pureed carrots and I must say, I like them all.

4 Month Checkup!

So today, I went for my 4 month check up and I got a clean bill of health! I am a healthy 16lbs 13ozs (73rd percentile) and am 26 inches long (73rd percentile). My head circumference has gotten a little bit bigger at 41.8cm (25th percentile). I got 2 shots and 1 oral vaccination and took it like a bull -- a bit of wailing but stopped once I was in mommy's arms. All the doctors told mommy that she's doing a great job fattening me up and they all loved my chubby thighs and arms. I find myself irresistible as well -- hee hee.

Next appointment is in 2 months when I turn 6 months old! :) Thank goodness for a break on shots for a month. Enjoy the weekend!

Back from my travels!

I am finally back from traveling all over the place and whew was it tiring -- but it was lots of fun! During my time away, we celebrated my cousin, Ha-Rin's 2nd birthday in New York. We then went to Toronto for a week to visit my grandparents in Canada. My schedule was very busy as I had lots of fans to meet! My mom and dad got some time off and went to Lake Muskoka for a night and enjoyed it immensely. They told me that all they did was sleep though -- that must be fun for them! haha. They also attended good friend's Woj and Kate's wedding which was beautiful and intimate and had a good time catching up with some of daddy's friends.

Anyway, on with the pictures, since that's what you guys are all interested in...but I still love you guys..

Here's my pool mom recently bought me! Don't sweat my hot body...sheesh.

During our trip to Toronto, we had a bbq with my dad's cousins. Aunt Karen and Aunt Julie prepared a huge feast of steaks, shrimp, corn, sweet potato mash and broccoli salad. It was delicious!!! And on top of that, I got to go swimming with all my other cousins!

My most recent development is that I've learned to roll -- from my tummy to my back. I'm growing up for sure no matter how much my parents want me to stay this size!

Meet Leah!

These are a few photos from my trip to San Francisco. I met up with my Samchoon Dennis and Waesoongmo Janet. They made my stay there so comfortable. I had my own crib and Leah and I shared diaper changing products. We went for short walks together and I even went with Leah to her first month checkup! Leah is a good sleeper in her car seat whereas I needed company in the back so mommy ended up sitting in the back with the 2 of us while Janet drove us around.

Leah and I.....we be best buds. She has such a nice little puff of hair -- meanwhile, I've lost all my baby hair now and I'm almost balding...we are hoping it grows back soon!

This is Sophie my new giraffe...I love her and I think she loves me....

These are some gauze pads Samchoon Dennis bought as it doesn't stick to your tushy as much. I decided to play with them instead and pretend I was a boy who got stitches on his head and followed by a SARS patient.

And for mom and Janet's birthday, my daddy sent over a big edible bouquet! :) how purty and yummy....Leah and I loved the balloon as we kept staring it non-stop.

I tried to suck a strawberry but I think I like cantaloupes the best...yummy.
